Wood Stud Installation
Step 1.
The visual centering diamond will help
you visualize the center of your flat
panel. Place the wall plate against the
wall in the desired viewing location and
mark the center of the visual centering
diamond.
Step 2.
If the location is acceptable, use a stud
finder to determine the exact center of
each
stud.
Step 3.
Once all of the studs have been located,
adjust the wall plate to match the closest
location of the center diamond mark
while hitting at least two found stud
positions with the mount. Use a pencil to
mark these mounting locations.

Step 4.
Using a 1/4” drill bit, drill a pilot hole at
the first aligned and marked location.
Step 5.
Insert one (1) 5/16” x 3” lag bolt and
washer into the mounting hole and
tighten
(see
WARNING
: below) using a
1/2”
socket.

It is recommended that two people perform the installation. One person should hold the mount while the other person
installs the wall plate.
Visual Centering Diamond -
The visual centering diamond will guide you in determing the screen placement on the wall.
Do NOT over-tighten lag bolts when
attaching the mount to the wall.
Improper installation may result
in personal injury or damage to
property.
Only use 1/4” drill bit when drilling
the pilot holes.
IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO SECURE THE WALL PLATE TO THREE WALL STUDS USING THE
PROVIDED SIX (6) LAG BOLTS AND SIX (6) FLAT WASHERS.
