Install the PVS on a Console

IMPORTANT

At least two people are required to assemble the equipment.

Assembly requirements

• Remove the back cover from the console. This cover is not required as long as

the PVS is installed.

• If the console is attached to the equipment, remove the four console mounting

screws that hold it in place and set them aside.

Attach the back plate to the PVS mounting bracket

Your hardware kit contains two back plates and screws.

• For all equipment except 800-Line Treadmills: Use the short back plate and short

5/16 x ¾-inch SHCS.

• For 800 Line Treadmills only: Use the long back plate and the long 5/16 x 3½-inch

SHCS.

To attach the back plate:

IMPORTANT

DO NOT stretch, crimp, or damage the cables. Cables damaged by improper

installation are not covered by the Precor Limited Warranty.

1.

Insert the screw through the mounting bracket into the back plate at least

three full turns.

IMPORTANT

Make sure the screw is partially screwed into the back plate so that the back

plate does not fall into the equipment tube.

2.

Fit the back plate into the neck of the equipment and turn it horizontally so

that it secures the mounting bracket against the equipment neck.

3.

Place two screws into the PVS mounting bracket to align the holes with the

bottom plate, and then fully tighten the back plate screw.

NOTE

Check the alignment of the PVS mounting bracket and gently tap the

bracket to the left or right to align it.
