Procedure 7.1 - Replacing or Removing a Rear Cover Section
Warning:
Care must be taken when work is being performed in the area of the stairarms. Pinch
points exist between the stairarm and ramp and between the stairarm and crankarm,
when the rear covers are removed.
Procedure
1.
Set the on/off switch in the “off” position, then unplug the power cord from the A.C. outlet.

This procedure details the removal and replacement of the entire rear cover assembly. It is
only necessary to perform the portion of this procedure that is required to access the
particular section or sections that you are replacing.
Rear Cover Removal
Right Hand Cover Section
3.
Remove the two screws from the right front upper and right front lower corners of the right
hand cover section.
4.
Remove the right hand cover section.
Left Hand Cover Section
5.
Remove the two screws from the left front upper and left front lower corners of the left hand
cover section.
6.
Remove the left hand cover section.
Top Cover Section
7.
Remove the three screws from the center rear portion of the rear cover. Loosen two screws
from the inside center portion of the top cover. See Diagram 7.1.
8.
Unsnap the top cover from the front cover section and remove the top cover section.
Front Cover Section
9.
Remove the four screws that fastens the lower PCA to the front cover.
10. Loosen one screw from the lower, inside center portion of the front cover.
11. Unsnap the front cover from the bottom cover section and remove the front cover section.
