a.  Monthly check

Check the accumulated lint, hair and sludge on your 

H

2

grO

 filter screen each month. Clean if 

necessary. There is no need to remove the filter screen from the 

H

2

grO

, simply direct a strong 

jet of water across its surface from a garden hose nozzle for 15 to 30 seconds. The sludge will 
be flushed directly into the sewer drain. This cleaning process should consume only 5 to 10 
litres of water. 

Always remember to wash your hands after cleaning your 

H

2

grO

 system.

We recommend that you wear rubber gloves when removing the filter screen or pump from 
the unit. 
Remove the filter screen from the 

H

2

grO

 housing and clean it well. 

After isolating the 

H

2

grO

 unit from its power supply, disconnect and lift the pump from the 

pump well by its handle and thoroughly clean. Do not lift pump by its electrical cable.
Oil in the pump’s seal chamber should be periodically checked and replaced. This work 
should be done by a suitably qualified Davey Service Dealer after every 2,000 hours of 
operation or every 12 months, whichever occurs first.

Select two pods from each irrigation zone and inspect for blockages and root intrusion. If you
