Maintenance
a. Monthly check
Check the accumulated lint, hair and sludge on your
H

grO
filter screen each month. Clean if
necessary. There is no need to remove the filter screen from the
H
2
grO
, simply direct a strong
jet of water across its surface from a garden hose nozzle for 15 to 30 seconds. The sludge will
be flushed directly into the sewer drain. This cleaning process should consume only 5 to 10
litres of water.
Always remember to wash your hands after cleaning your

system.
b. annual Maintenance

housing and clean it well.
After isolating the

grO
unit from its power supply, disconnect and lift the pump from the
pump well by its handle and thoroughly clean. Do not lift pump by its electrical cable.
Oil in the pump’s seal chamber should be periodically checked and replaced. This work
should be done by a suitably qualified Davey Service Dealer after every 2,000 hours of
operation or every 12 months, whichever occurs first.
Open the in-line valves at the end of the 25mm purple
H

irrigation pipe and thoroughly
flush pipelines with clean fresh water.
Select two pods from each irrigation zone and inspect for blockages and root intrusion. If you
find any blockages, raise and clean all pods.
