grO – Greywater for Gardens
system diverts greywater supplied from the bathroom and/
or laundry to your garden where it is used to irrigate plants. When you pull the plug on
greywater, it flows down through subfloor drainpipes and into the upper section of the

unit. Your greywater then passes through a stainless steel filter screen which removes lint,
hair and large particles, after which it collects in a pumpwell. When the level rises in the
pumpwell, a float switch activates the pump and the greywater that has collected is pumped
into the subsurface irrigation network.

During periods of rainfall or when the greywater quality is unsuitable for garden use, divert
the greywater to waste (sewer). Fitting an optional rain/moisture sensor to the automatic
