QUATTROCANALI | SERVICE MANUAL

20. Rescue Procedure for VOID Bias Q2/Q1/D1

1. When a ASC received any VOID Bias Q2/Q1/D1 and 

required to Perform the DSP Board Rescue Procedure

2. Request from Powersoft HQ / 

Customer_Service_APAC / Customer_Service_CALA for 

the VOID_OEM Folder

3. Provide Serial Number & Model of the VOID Bias Q2/

Q1/D1 to allow Powersoft HQ to customize the Installer 

Program (“devList.xml”)

Note: The Powersoft Service Team will provide this 

“devList.xml” customized for that Specific VOID Model 

Amp. with Serial Number assigned

This file cannot be used for other Amplifier except that 

one

4. Connect the PC to the amplifier via ETH port

5. Set the PC IP address as 

192.168.5.100

. The subnet 

mask will be automatically set

6. Copy the file “upgrade4.zip” in local PC

Note: This “upgrade4.zip” File is the Standard File that 

normally used for the Powersoft Rescue Procedure. In 

case the Service Team doesn’t have it, please request it 

from Powersoft HQ

7. On the front panel of your amplifier keep pressed four  

push buttons all together:

CALL / SOFT RESET / HARD RESET / CHECK

8. Power up the amp with the 4 buttons still pressed

9. Verify that all front leds turn ON

10. Release all push buttons, after a few seconds, the 

LEDs will be lighted like this 

(the “R” letter appear only if the unit had installed a recent 

Firmware otherwise the LEDs are all ON)

11. Check the ETH Port Green LED is blinking

12. Wait 20 sec. and then launch the browser on your PC

13. Connect your PC to the Amp writing 

192.168.5.200

 in 

the address bar of your browser.

The following screen will be shown: 

Select “upgrade firmware”.
