INSTALLING THE GRASS BAG (FOR REAR BAGGING OPERATION) (FIG 3)
NOTE:
When using the grass bag, do not install the mulching insert.
•
lift the rear chute cover.
•
lift the grass bag by its handle and place under the rear chute cover so that the hooks on the grass bag are seated
on the cover rod.
•
Release the rear chute cover. When installed correctly, the hooks on the grass bag will extend through the openings
on the rear chute cover.
INSTALLING THE MULCHING INSERT (FIG 4)
NOTE:
When using the grass bag, do not install the mulching insert.
•
lift the rear chute cover.
•
Grasp the mulching insert by its handle and insert it at a slight angle, as shown fIG 4.
•
Push the mulching plug securely into place.
•
Release the rear chute cover to make sure it rests firmly against the mulching insert.
INSTALLING THE SIDE DISCHARGE CHUTE (FIG 5)
NOTE:
When using the side discharge chute, the grass bag should be uninstalled.
•
lift the side discharge cover.
•
align the grooves on the side discharge chute with the rods underneath the discharge cover. See fIG 5.
•
lower the discharge chute to rest the opening on the mower deck.
•
Release the side discharge cover to secure the side discharge chute in place.
