Material and Device Damage
❐
Do not carry out any repairs or maintenance yourself on the vibrating dumbbell, the
batteries or the charger, but instead contact the customer service department or a
specialist.
❐
Do not drop the vibrating dumbbell or allow it to be knocked violently.
❐
Do not expose the vibrating dumbbell to extreme temperatures, wide temperature vari-
ations, or direct sunlight.
The Proper Handling of Batteries and Charging Adapters
❐
Only charge up the vibrating dumbbell using charging adapters which are recommended
by the manufacturer. For a charging adapter which is suitable for a certain kind of battery,
there is a risk of
fi
re if it is used with other batteries.
❐
The charging adapter should only be connected to a properly installed socket with earthing
contacts. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection. The mains voltage
must match the technical data for the device (see the "Technical Data" chapter). Only use
suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the device.
❐
The plug of the charging adapter must
fi
t in the socket. It must not be changed in any way.
❐
Ensure that it is not possible for others to trip over the connected charging adapter cable.
Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others may
become caught and pull the device down.
❐
Lay the charging adapter cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces or water.
❐
Do not use the cable to support or suspend the device or grab the cable to pull the plug
out of the socket. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges, and moving device
parts.
❐
CAUTION!
Do not expose the vibrating dumbbell and the charging adapter to high tem-
peratures. For example, do not leave them lying in the sun.
❐
The vibrating dumbbell and the charging adapter must not be taken apart, thrown into a
fi
re, immersed in liquids or short-circuited.
❐
Do not place the vibrating dumbbell or the charging adapter on a cooking or heating
device, e. g. microwave oven, stove or radiator. Among other things, this may cause the
battery inside the vibrating dumbbell to overheat and explode.
❐
Never use a damaged charging adapter or the vibrating dumbbell if the battery is damaged.
❐
If the vibrating dumbbell is damaged and used inappropriately, vapours may escape from
the battery. Get some fresh air and consult a doctor if you feel unwell. The vapours may
irritate the respiratory passages.
❐
Keep the vibrating dumbbell and the charging adapter away from rain or moisture. The
ingress of water into a charging adapter increases the risk of an electric shock. Only charge
up the vibrating dumbbell in closed rooms indoors.
❐
Check the cable and plug of the charging adapter each time before you use it. Do not use
the charging adapter if you
fi
nd any signs of damage. Do not open the charging adapter
