Connecting to Skid Steer & Transporting to Job Site
WARNING
The log splitter must be correctly mounted and then attached to the skid steer
hydraulic system for safe operation.
Follow the instructions below for safety mounting and connecting the log splitter.
1. Read
instructions
Review your skid steer manual or check with your dealer for instructions and safety
information about how to properly connect the log splitter to your skid steer’s
hydraulics.
Since there are many variations of hydraulic connections on skid steers, ensuring a correct hook-up to
your skid steer is your responsibility.

Turn off the skid steer and engage the parking brake before attaching the log splitter.

Attach log splitter to skid steer’s universal quick attach plate.

Connect the skid steer’s universal quick attach plate to the log splitter.
WARNING:
An improperly attached log splitter could become dislodged during
transportation or operation, which could result in serious injury to the operator or bystanders. Do
not drive the skid steer or operate the log splitter until you are sure the log splitter is properly
attached.
