Hardwire the auxiliary camera to the dashcam
Fleet managers can hardwire each auxiliary camera to a single main V-AI12 dashcam. A wired
connection is the preferred method to connect auxiliary cameras to the main dashcam. This connection
is helpful when the auxiliary camera is placed in an area with possible interference to the Wi-Fi signal,
such as the back of the vehicle. The auxiliary camera needs a 12V minimum 2A power source.
Warning
This installation should be performed by a qualified or professional person only. Working with your
vehicle's power system can be dangerous. Consult a professional for guidance.
