10. P² SERVOBUS
The P²-ServoBus significantly simplifies the wiring in any model. Ins
-
tead of running cables to each servo like spokes from a hub, the P²-Ser
-
voBus is based on a heavy-duty cable to which all the servos - or other
consumer units - are connected. Only one positive, one negative and
one signal wire are required. This also saves many plug and socket
connections at the wing root in models fitted with multiple wing-mounted servos.
The individual servos are addressed, and each decodes the signal assigned to it.
The newly developed P²-ServoBridge is capable of decoding the signals for all ser-
vos currently available commercially. Servos with integral P²-ServoBus decoding
will be available as of 2022.
The Core and Atom radio control systems also provide the facility to monitor all
the servos connected to the P²-ServoBus via telemetry, enabling the user to detect
mechanical or electronic defects at an early stage.
The Royal SR2 now features an integral P²-BUS menu for setting up the P²-ServoB
-
ridge.
This gives you access to the settings of the P²-ServoBridge, or servos with integral
P²-BUS interface, without recourse to the Core or Atom transmitter, and without a
USB / BlueCom adapter.
Select the P²-BUS menu, and you will see this display:
