The UPS system contains no user-serviceable parts. If the battery service life has been
exceeded, the batteries must be replaced. In this case, please contact your dealer. Battery
service life is typically around 3 years, however the following factors can reduce this:
Exposure to high temperatures
Repeated battery operation. Batteries are specified for 200 cycles
Stored, or remained off charge in a depleted state.
Be sure to deliver the spent battery to a recycling facility or ship it to
your dealer in the replacement battery packing material.
Storage
Before storing, charge the UPS 5 hours. Store the UPS covered and upright in a cool, dry
location.
Ideal storage temperature is 10-25
o
C.
Recharge every 6 months when stored within the ideal range.
Recharge every 2 months if stored outside ideal range.
