ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Letter references in parenthesis (A) refer to the included Identification Key.
Dashed numbers in parenthesis (Fig. 1-1) refer to a specific point in an
illustration or image.
Assembly requires two 10 mm wrenches (not included). Have a second person
available to assist during the rack assembly.
1. Loosen each upper adjustment knob on the carrier
frame until the teeth are separated (Fig. 2).
2. Rotate the frame pad arm outward to expose the
bolt holes on the lower frame. The arm will be
adjusted during installation.
3. Align the teeth and tighten each adjustment knob.
4. Hold the cambuckle (H) by the front. Slide the end bar into the anchor loop
(G) so it hangs freely. Prepare the other three cambuckles in the same way.
5. Insert a 40 x 6 mm bolt (D) through an anchor
loop’s (G) bolt holes. The buckle’s cam is on the
same side as the bolt head (Fig. 3).
6. Insert the bolt through the bolt hole in the lower
part of the carrier frame.
7. Slide another anchor loop over the protruding
bolt. The cambuckle is facing outward.
8. Secure with an 18 mm washer (F) and a nut (E).
Hold the bolt head in place with a 10 mm wrench
and turn the nut with the other 10 mm wrench. The
anchor loops must still be able to rotate freely.
9. Repeat steps 5 to 8 on the carrier frame’s other
side to secure the remaining two cambuckles.
10. Thread the six straps with hooks into the
cambuckles. The longer straps (B) attach to the
cambuckles next to the adjustment knobs. The
four shorter straps (C) attached to the
cambuckles you installed.
