Adjusting the saw
Setting the bevel angle
Set the bevel guide to the required angle using the
angle gauge (37) and tighten it using the finger
screw on the angle gauge.
Setting the mitre angle
The angle of the saw blade can be freely adjusted
from 0 to 45°. Undo the lock button (5). Turn the
handle (3) to adjust the bevel angle. Tighten the
lock button.
Setting the saw depth
Turn the handle to raise or lower the saw blade.
The saw blade should protrude no more than 3
mm above the upper surface of the item.
Remember to adjust the cleaver blade
correspondingly.
Use
Place the item on the workbench, and up to the
parallel guide or bevel angle.
Switch on the saw at the on/off switch (7), and
allow the blade to reach full speed.
Feed the item in with a smooth, sliding
movement. Do not put pressure on the saw.
Switch the saw off immediately if the blade jams or
gets stuck in the item being cut. If the blade gets
stuck, it can cause the item to violently kick back
towards the user. Never stand directly behind the
saw blade when sawing.
Safety devices
The saw is equipped with a safety device to protect
against accidental start-up, so it will not start up
automatically if the power has been shut off and is
restored while the on/off switch is at position „I“
(on). Turn the saw off and then on again to restart
it.
The saw is equipped with an overload cut-out that
switches it off if it is overloaded. Switch off the saw
and wait a minute or two. Press the reset button
(51) and switch the saw back on as shown in figure
13.
