Special safety instructions
•
Use the battery charger at room temperature
only (max. 40 °C C).
•
Never use the battery charger if the charger or
cable are damaged.
•
For use on wood, metal, plastic and similar
materials.
•
Ensure item is secured before sanding.
•
Never use for sanding materials containing
asbestos.
•
Sparks can be generated when sanding metal
surfaces. Avoid using in flammable
surroundings and in vicinity of flammable
materials and fluids.
•
Never put the machine down if the sole is still
rotating. Wait until it has stopped completely
before putting it down if you are not going to
use it again.
Preparation
Positioning charger
Place on a level surface or mount on wall using the
screws and rawlplugs supplied. Check wall can bear
the combined weight of charger and sander.
Insert plug into mains socket.
Charging
Charge the battery fully before using the machine
for the first time.
•
Place sander in charger. Check that the
charging socket (5) in the back of the sander
fits onto the male plug in the charger. Remove
sanding disc before charging.
•
The red diode (a) will be lit while the battery is
charging.
•
Remove sander from charger when fully
charged and disconnect from mains.
•
Battery level can be checked using the test
button (4). One to three diodes on the back of
the sander will light. Charge when only one
(or no) red diode lights when the button is
pressed.
