• Remove spark plug, put a couple of drops of
lubricating oil into the spark plug hole. Insert
spark plug.
• Wipe off engine exterior with a soft cloth
• Lubricate all moving parts.
• Cover all metal surfaces with thin film of light
oil.
• Slacken lock handles and fold handle.
Store in clean, dry, well-ventilated place. Cover if
possible with a cloth.
Other adjustment
Removing the drive belt cover
• Slacken screws (j) and nuts (k) at front of
drive belt cover (16) and retaining bolt (l) at
back.
• Remove cover.
• Replace in reverse order. Activate clutch lever
to worm drive before fitting to tighten drive
belt. Drive belt will now fit in the guides at
rear of cover.

Replacing the belt
• Remove cover (see above). Note how drive belt
is fitted.
• Remove screw (m) from belt guide (n), and
remove guide by turning it downwards.
• Remove screw (o) and belt (p) from guide arm
(q).
