Prior to reaching into the water, isolate (switch off and disconnect) all units/devices used in the water.

Isolate the device (disconnect from the power supply) before carrying out any work on it.
Regular cleaning work
Regularly clean the filter basket. Occasionally rinse the foam filter with clean water. (

How to proceed:

1. Remove the filter basket.
– You can leave the skimmer in the water if you use a sufficiently long pole with a hook and hook it into the handle
and remove the filter basket.
2. Clean the filter basket with clean water and a soft brush.
3. Put the filter basket back into the skimmer.
Thoroughly cleaning the unit
The unit has to be taken out of the water for cleaning or maintenance.

Only rinse the foam filter in clean water.

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they could attack the housing or impair the function
of the unit.
How to proceed:

1. Remove all inserts and the foam sponge.
2. Use a socket spanner or pliers, if necessary, to undo and remove the union nut from the pump.
3. Take the pump out of the pump chamber.
4. Clean all parts.
– Use a soft brush.
– Rinse parts in clean water.
5. Clean the casing from the inside and the outside.
6. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order.
