Intended use
PondoSkim 12 V, referred to as "unit", may only be used as specified in the following:
•
For surface cleaning of garden ponds, swimming ponds and pools.
The following restrictions apply to the unit:
•
Operate in accordance with instructions.

•
Never use the unit to convey fluids other than water.
•
Adhere to the required water values depending on the type of water used.

Never run the unit without water.
•
Do not use for commercial or industrial purposes.
Installation and connection

•
Install the transformer at a minimum safety distance of 2 m from the water.
•
Connect the connection cable of the skimmer to the socket on the transformer and hand-tighten the union nut.
•
Place the skimmer into the pond and submerge it until the container is completely flooded.
•
To anchor the skimmer, fasten one or two cords to the lugs of the pump chamber and anchor the other ends to the
edge of the pond.
Commissioning/start-up
N O T E
Never allow the pump to run dry. Otherwise the pump will be destroyed.
•
Ensure that the pump is always flooded during operation.
•
Regularly check the water level.
•
Switching on:
Insert the power plug into the socket.
– The unit switches on immediately.
•
Switching off:
Disconnect the power plug.
