♦ Switch off the appliance by pressing the main switch (

♦ disconnect the plug from the electricity socket.
♦ Disconnect the monoblock plug

and by pul-
ling the plug to remove it from the appliance.
After having turned the appliance off and disconnecting it from the electricity, empty the water con-
tainer (

). One of the great advantages of Vaporetto Lecoaspira is in fact the possibility of clea-
ning it, thereby avoiding all risk of the spread of micro-organisms.
♦ Lift the water container (

) removing it with the container handle (

)(Fig. 3).
♦ Turn the handle as per (fig. 4) eand remove the “ Eco-Active” water filter assembly (

).
♦ Empty the container by tilting it towards the spout (Fig.10).
♦ Pull the elbow tube (

) from the filter body with the micro pore net (

) until it slides off (Fig.
11a).
♦ Separate all the components and rinse them under running water. (If the filter sponge has tears,
replace it. To purchase one, contact an authorized Polti Service centre).
♦ After drying the various components of the “Eco-Active ” water filter, reinsert the water filter as-
sembly, in the water container (

).

♦ Replace the water container (

) as described in the chapter “preparing for use”.
A recommendation for cleaning the container and the extension tubes, if particular-
ly dirty:
once cleaning is complete, empty the container as described and place it back in its hou-
sing on the body of the appliance. Connect the appliance to the mains.
Then vacuum up approximately 1.5 litres of clean water using the suction function for a few
seconds.
The water vortex created inside the container will rinse the sides and remove any dirt. The clean
water will also clean the inside of the tubes as it travels through them.
Empty the container again and put Vaporetto Lecoaspira away.
