• You may now deliver steam by pressing the

steam button (

A5

) on the handle.

• If you decide not to use steam any more, you

can turn off the water boiler by holding down
the terracotta/parquet button (

2

) until indica-

tor lights (

2A

) and (

4

) both go out.

TERRACOTTA / PARQUET FLOOR

FUNCTION

The parquet function is intended for cleaning
parquet and other delicate floor surfaces. This
function uses the combined action of a gentle,
intermittent jet of steam with vacuuming
power at an appropriate level. When cleaning
delicate surfaces, always use it with the spe-
cial cloth with velcro (

E6

) provided applied to

the multipurpose brush (

E

) (Fig. E).

• Press the main switch (

1

). The first level on

the vacuum indicator lights (

5

) will begin to

flash.

• Press the water boiler - terracotta/parquet

button (

2

) once only.

• The heater indicator lamp

(4)

will come on to

show that the boiler is working.
Wait for the steam ready indicator lamp

(4a)

to go out before working.
At this point, press the terracotta/parquet
button (

2

) again to turn on the parquet func-

tion; the indicator light will come on (

2A

).

• While holding down the steam button (

A5

),

steam will be released alternately and vacu-
uming will begin at intermediate speed (you
cannot change vacuum speed). If you re-
lease the button (

A5

), the steam supply will

be stopped, while vacuuming will continue
for about 4 seconds more to dry the surface
treated.

• Press the button (

2

) again to stop working.

To avoid damaging delicate surfaces, we
recommend always using the parquet
function with the universal brush (E), to-
gether with the liquid suction insert (E3)
or with the insert for fitted carpet (E4),
wrapped in a parquet cloth with velcro
(E6).

• Always be very careful when cleaning

wooden surfaces (furniture, doors, etc.) and
treated terracotta floors, as prolonged use
of steam could damage the wax, polish or
colour of the surfaces.

Thanks to the self-filling function, there is no
longer any need to stop and wait to fill up the
boiler the again.
When the water inside the boiler reaches its
low level, the level probe will automatically acti-
vate a pump that will fill the boiler from the tank.
When there is no more water left in the self-fill-
ing tank, this will be shown by the “out of water”
switch (

3

) and you will also be warned by an

audible signal.
In order to continue working, proceed as de-
scribed in the section on "Preparation for use".

Vaporetto Lecoaspira will enable you to opti-
mise the steam flow by means of the control
knob (

8

) (Fig. 8). To obtain a higher flow rate

turn the knob in a clockwise direction. When
the knob is turned in an anti-clockwise direc-
tion, the flow rate decreases.

High flow rate of steam:

to remove caked dirt, stains, grease and to
sanitise;

Normal flow rate of steam:

for wall-to-wall and loose carpeting, windows,
floors;

Low flow rate of steam:

for spraying plants, cleaning delicate fabrics,
wallpaper.
