OPERATION/SETUP GUIDE
1. Locate the SPS-1 on a rack, shelf or floor. Ensure there is
adequate ventilation on the sides and top of the power supply.
2. Connect the power from the power supply to each speaker’s
amplifier, which is located on the back of each LC
i
-IP Speaker.
3. Using the supplied IEC power cord, plug the SPS-1 into
an electrical outlet.
4. Switch the SPS-1 on with the power switch.
Note:
We recommend using a surge protector connected
between the electrical outlet and the SPS-1.
This hookup works for both the LC265
i
-IP and the LC80
i
-IP.
This hookup works only for the LC80
i
-IP. Do not
hook up the LC265
i
-IP this way.
TROUBLESHOOTING

•Unit is ON
OFF
•Switch is off; IEC cable is not connec-
ted; fuse is blown. If fuse is blown,
check for short-circuit conditions at
the output cables.
When using the SPS-1 power supply, you may hook up as many as 4
(four) LC80
i
-IP loudspeakers or 2 (two) LC265
i
-IP loudspeakers.
IEC Socket
This is a standard
IEC socket.
Power Connectors
For optimum performance, we recommend using 14-gauge,
4-conductor wire between the power supply and each
amplifier (see the LC
i
-IP manual for other wiring options).
Note:
Leave at least 2-3 inches
of clearance on the sides and
top of the power supply.
