OPERATION
Deceleration
1. Apply both the front and the rear brakes at the same time in a coordinated man-
ner to slow the motorcycle.
2. When the motorcycle reaches 10 mi/hr (16 km/hr), shift into first gear. Anytime
the engine is about to stall or runs very roughly, pull the clutch and use the
brakes to stop.

Parking
When parking the motorcycle, stop the engine and remove the main switch key.
WARNING:
Do not come in contact with the muffler or exhaust pipes after the
engine has been running. They will be very hot and will cause serious burns if
touched. Park the motorcycle in a place where pedestrians or children are not like-
ly to touch the motorcycle. Do not park the motorcycle on a slope or soft ground;
the motorcycle may fall over.
