4. Spin the compressor down until it just starts to
contact the helix cover. Remove the four screws

that secure the cam (helix) assembly using a T25
Torx driver.
CAUTION
The helix cover is loaded by the spring. Not using a
proper compressor may result in personal injury or
damage to the clutch.
5. Remove the universal clutch compressor.
6. Note the alignment of the X’s
w
on the spider and
moveable sheave. Remove the spider assembly
e
and spring.
NOTICE
Spring is compression only and has no torsional wind.
7. Remove the E-clips

, washers

, and the clutch
rollers
y
. Inspect the rollers for wear; replace if worn.
8. Press out the spring pins

in the inner sheave.
9. Pull out the clutch slider pins

and sliders
