Auto
Text the control word "Auto" to the Platypus Controller. The Platypus Controller will switch to
the AUTO mode of operation.
A return text message will be sent to the registered phone and the calling phone number. The
text message will read:
System in AUTO mode
Trigger
The control word "Trigger" must be followed immediately by a 2 digit number. This number
represents the new trigger temperature. The Platypus Sprinkler Controller will change the
trigger temperature setting to this number. The number must be two (2) digits. ie: 10 to 99
example: Trigger45
For the example above, the Platypus Controller will set the trigger temperature to 45 degrees
and respond to the registered phone and the calling phone number with a text indicating this
has been set correctly.
On
Text the control word "On" to the Platypus Controller. The Platypus Controller will switch to the
Manual mode of operation and activate all installed devices.
A return text message will be sent to the registered phone and the calling phone number. The
text message will read:
System On
Once the "On" control word has been used, the system will change to the Manual mode of
operation.
This means the Platypus Sprinkler Controller will no longer respond
automatically to temperatures above the set trigger point.
Use the "Auto" control word to change to the Auto mode of operation.
Off
Text the control word "Off" to the Platypus Controller. The Platypus Controller will switch to the
Manual mode of operation and de-activate all installed devices.
A return text message will be sent to the registered phone and the calling phone number. The
text message will read:
System Off
Once the "Off" control word has been used, the system will change to the Manual mode of
operation.
This means the Platypus Sprinkler Controller will no longer respond
automatically to temperatures above the set trigger point.
Use the "Auto" control word to change to the Auto mode of operation.
