Explanation
System loading message is displayed
for a long time when the power is first
applied.
If the phone option is installed the Platypus Sprinkler Controller
can take up to 90 seconds to initialize
Nothing is displayed on the screen

The Platypus Sprinkler Controller has gone to sleep.
Touch the screen to wake from sleep.
•
Check the 3.3V supply fuse
The battery test function displays 0V
•
Check that the battery function is installed
•
Check that a battery is connected to the battery
terminals
•
Check the battery is connected to the terminals with the
correct polarity
•
Check the battery fuse
Will not send or receive an SMS
message
•
Check that the phone function has been installed
•
Check that a SIM card is inserted
•
Recharge SIM card as required
Platypus Sprinkler Controller will not
automatically respond to an over
temperature situation.
Put the Platypus Sprinkler Controller into Auto mode
