Terminal Setup
To configure the system, connect the provided RJ-45 cable and DB9 connector to a COM
port on a PC or notebook computer and to serial (console) port of the device.
When the connection between the PC and ERT-805 is ready, run the Hyper Terminal and
configure its communication parameters. It can be accessed from the Start menu. Click
START, then Programs, Accessories and then Hyper Terminal.
The operating mode of the console port is:
• Baud rate: 9600
• Data bits: 8
• Parity: none
• Stop bits: 1
• Flow control: None
After finished the setting, click OK.
Or run the Mrcom32.exe under DOS mode (The program can be found in the CD-ROM,
directory “/utility”). It can access from START menu click RUN then type “e:/utility/
mrcom32 com1 9600” where assume ‘e’ drive is the CD-ROM drive.
