Display does not light up.

Power is not on.

Make sure that the computer 
is turned on.

Activate the computer from 
sleep mode.

Power cord is not securely 
connected.

Tighten power cord 
connection and turn on 
computer.

No image appears on 
the screen

Video cable is not securely 
connected.

Check to see that all cables 
are properly connected to 
the computer and to the 
display. 

No dual-link functionality.

Improper connection.

Make sure that DVI cable 
is connected to the bottom 
port on the graphics board.

Power LED is amber.

Video cable is not securely 
fastened.

Turn off the computer. Make 
sure that the video cable is 
properly connected to the 
display and to the graphics 
board.

Check the computer power 
and graphics board 
configuration.
