Insert the grease filters and connect the appliance to the mains

Check from all sides that the appliance is aligned horizontally; otherwise the
appliance will not work properly.
2.4 Carbon filter

Unplug the appliance or disconnect it from the mains (use
the relevant fuse in your household fuse box).
WARNING!
Use the carbon filters in recirculation mode only.

Remove the grease filter(s). The carbon filters are intended to be installed on
both sides of the motor.

Please note the following illustration:

Turn to the left = Remove a previously installed carbon filter.
R
Turn to the right = Place the carbon filter on the motor and turn the filter
to the left slightly or jerk it carefully until the filter is installed properly.
