2.4 Installation of the hob
DANGER!
The appliance must be installed
by a qualified professional only

not carry out the installation yourself. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
NOTICE!

The safety distance between the hob and a
wall
cupboard
above should be
at least
450 mm
.

The safety distance between the hob and an
extractor hood
above should

at least
760 mm
.
➢
Do not install the appliance above cooling equipment, dish washers or
laundry dryers.
➢
When installing the appliance ensure optimal heat radiation to maintain the
operating safety.
➢
The wall and the reach of the heat radiation above the worktop must be
made of heat-resistant materials.
➢
To avoid any damage, the sandwich layer and adhesive must resist heat.
➢
Install a thermal protection below the bottom of the appliance when
installing the hob above a drawer or a cupboard.
➢
If you install the hob above a built-in oven, both the hob and the built-
in oven must be connected to the mains separately.
Froper ventilation

The hob must be ventilated properly. The air inlet (

) and outlet (

) must never
be blocked or covered (s. fig. below). Always keep the appliance in proper
condition.
