The  communication  port 

COM2

  is  available  either  in  the  25-pin 

connector  or  in  the  9-pin  connector,  but  only  in  interface  RS232 

(protocol

3.3  NPN digital inputs  

 

In  DB25  connector  pins,  8  NPN  digital  inputs  are  present.  The 

digital  input  is  active  if  the  respective  PIN  is  short-circuited  with 

GND (PIN 5, reference).
