Connecting a TV and playback components
Connecting using HDMI
If you have an HDMI or DVI (with HDCP) equipped component (Blu-ray Disc player, etc.), you can
connect it to this receiver using a commercially available HDMI cable.
Important

Even if you connect the playback
components with an HDMI cable, no sound
will come out of the speaker connected to this
receiver. An audio cable connection is also
needed for this.

If the connection was made using a coaxial
cable, press
