Remote Control of Other Components

6 Point the remote controls at each other,
about 1-2 inches apart, and press the button
on the other remote control for the
operation you want to program (only the
buttons highlighted in the diagram on the
left can be programmed).

Point the remote controls toward each other.

Press the button on the other remote control corresponding to
the operation you wish to program. The LED on this receiver’s
remote will go out and then blink twice when the operation is
learned. Press the teaching key repeatedly, varying the
distances between the remotes, until you see this receiver’s
remote blink twice, indicating the operation has been learned.
To program additional operations for the current component
Repeat steps 3 and 4.
To program operations for another component
Repeat steps 2 through 4.
7 Press REMOTE SETUP to exit the LEARNING
setup mode
After ten seconds of inactivity the remote control will automati-
cally leave the LEARNING mode and revert to its previous mode.
Some commands from other remote controls cannot be
learned, but in most cases the remotes just need to be moved
closer together a farther apart.
