Replacing the Rubber Gaskets
This section describes how to replace the rubber gaskets inside the transmitters of the sensors.

Remove the sensor’s transmitter’s cover.
See “Checking Operation of the Sensors” (page 8).

Gently pinch the gasket with the tweezers and lift up to remove it.

Be careful to not scratch the gasket groove or the area around it.

Remove any dirt or materials in the area around the gasket groove.

Check that the new rubber gasket has no tears or twists, and that there is no dust or other foreign
material stuck to it.

Align the rubber gaskets with the points enclosed by the dotted line to insert it.

Use your finger to press in the gasket. There is a risk of damaging the gasket if you use the tweezers.

Be careful that you do not damage the gasket with your fingernails.

Confirm that the entire length is completely inserted and then install the cover of the sensor’s
transmitter.
