Assy mounted on the unit is replaced during servicing, the current DVD/CD drive data must be
copied to the new main flash memory in the drive unit.
Note:
W
ith the above screen displayed, move the asterisk-shaped
cursor to the parameter for which you wish to input data
manually, using the LOAD A or B key.
After moving the cursor to the desired parameter, enter the
present LD status values, using the rotary selector, as
follows:
In the case of LD current, turning the rotary selector
increases the value by 1.
In the case of accumulated time of LD light emission,
turning the rotary selector increases the value in multiples of
8

000). You can change the unit
for incrementing by pressing the function keys, as shown
below:
After entering each parameter value, pressing the rotary
selector will write the input value to the flash memory of the
SMAI

Assy.

riting starts when the USB STOP LED lights and is
completed when it goes dark.
Reenter Service mode (by turning the unit off then back on
again) to confirm that the present DVD/CD drive data have
been stored.
