Notes
• Disconnect USB storage devices from the
unit when not in use.
• It will take several minutes when playing
external storage devices that contain a
mixture of various media file types.
• Use an optional Pioneer USB cable (CD-
U50E) to connect the USB audio player/
USB memory as any device connected
directly to the unit will protrude out from
the unit and may be dangerous.
• Do not use unauthorized products.
Playing DivX® VOD content
Some DivX® VOD (video on demand)
content may only be playable a fixed
number of times.
When you attempt to play back this type of
content saved on an external storage
device, the remaining number of times it
can be played is shown on-screen. You can
then decide whether or not to play back the
contents of the external storage device.
• If there is no limit to the number of times
the DivX
®
VOD content can be viewed,
then you may insert the external storage
device into your player and play the
content as often as you like, and no
message will be displayed.
• You can confirm the number of times that
the content can be played by checking
the number displayed after Remaining
Views:.

• In order to play DivX
®
VOD contents on
this unit, you first need to register the unit
with your DivX
®
VOD contents provider.

• DivX
®
VOD content is protected by a DRM
(Digital Rights Management) system. This
restricts playback of content to specific,
registered devices.
If a message is displayed after inserting the
external storage device containing DivX
®
VOD content, use M.C. to select a desired
mode.
