This unit does not have the following function.
! Scrolling the text in the display
Switching the XMdisplay
% Press DISPLAY to switch the XM display.
Each press of DISPLAY changes the XMdis-
play in the following order:
Channel name Artist name/feature Song/
program title Channel category
Swiching the XMchannel select
setting
You can switch if you select a channel with a
channel number or from a channel category
when you select a channel.
% Press CLOCK and hold to select the de-
sired channel select setting.
Press CLOCK and hold repeatedly to switch
between the following channel select settings:
CH NUMBER (channel number select mode)
CATEGORY (channel category select
mode)
Introduction of DVD operation
You can use this unit with a separately sold
DVD player or multi-DVD player.
For details concerning operation, refer to the
DVD player s or multi-DVD player s operation
manuals. This section provides information on
DVD operations with this unit which differs
from that described in the DVD player s or
multi-DVD player s operation manual.

% During DVD playback, press FUNCTION
to display the function names.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tween the following functions:
Repeat (repeat play) Pause (pause)
% During Video CD playback, press
FUNCTION to display the function names.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tween the following functions:
Repeat (repeat play) Pause (pause)
% During CD playback, press FUNCTION to
display the function names.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tween the following functions:
Repeat (repeat play) Random (random play)
Scan (scan play) ITS Play (ITS play)

Notes
! When using this unit with multi-DVD player,
you can switch to
ITS Play .
! Repeat play function is different depending on
the disc types.
During DVD playback, press c or d to se-
lect the repeat range.
During Video CD or CD playback, press a
or b to turn repeat play on or off.
Using ITS playlist and disc title
functions
During CD playback when using this unit with
multi-DVD player, you can use these functions.
Operation is same as multi-CD player. Please
refer to multi-CD player section.
