1. Set the main vol u me level to "0" then t u rn off the
u nit (Standby mode).
2. Connect the PC and the u nit as shown in "Connections".
3. Keep pressing the " V OL +" and "PO W ER" keys on the
display (for 2 seconds) till the AC power is t u rned on.
W hen the power is t u rned on, the download men u
appears.
Using
the V OL+/- on the display u nit, select the
microcomp u ter to be downloaded, and press the
I N PUT SELECT b u tton on the display u nit.

"DownLoading" is displayed and the PO W ER LED
(bl u e) flashes.
* DSP1 cannot be u pdated by the above proced u re
(RS232C). Do not select it.
4. Do u ble-click the "UFU.exe".
5. Check that "F u ll" is selected in Mode Select.
6. Select the firmware file (.mot file) for u pdating each u com.
Note : Do N OT download the firmware file for other u com.
7. Select the comm u nication speed.
• Basic speed: 19200
• Data transfer speed: 57600
8 . Click the "START" b u tton.
9. "Completed" is displayed on the "UFU.exe" window abo u t
5 min u te later.
10. Disconnect the AC power cord of the u nit.
After downloading is completed on UFU, disconnect
the AC pl u g. ( W ait for several seconds after the AC
pl u g is disconnected.)
W hen a pl u rality of microcomp u ters need to be
b u rned, repeat the above steps (1) to (7).
11. After u pdating of all microcomp u ters is completed,
exec u te Memory Clear.
T u rn on the main u nit. Then, press the PO W ER b u tton
while pressing the I N PUT SELECT to set the u nit in
the standby state.
12. Check the version.
Please refer to "Indication of version" (P49) and check
that the version has been changed to a new one.
