Turn the frying pan off, and serve.
Options:
You can marinate the meat before frying, using the mix below:
60ml soy sauce
10ml cornflour
5ml ground ginger
3ml garlic salt
15ml cooking oil
This marinate can be added to the stir fry after adding the vegetables.
Frozen vegetables can also be used. It is best to defrost these before adding them to the stir fry.
For a Hawaiian Stir-fry, add some sliced bacon, sliced banana and diced pineapple.
Left-overs make wonderful stir-fries, including left-over rice, meat and vegetables.
Farmstyle Omelettes
Ingredients for one omelette:
3 eggs
Grated cheese
15ml Milk
Fillings of your choice such as: sliced mushrooms, sliced tomato, cut ham, sliced salami, sliced
peppers, a variety of herbs, etc, preferably cooked.
Instructions:
Heat the frying pan to 10
0˚C and wait until the thermostat light goes off.
Break the eggs into a large mixing bowl and add the milk and grated cheese. Whisk slightly until the
egg white and egg yellow are well mixed.
Pour the mix into the frying pan and allow to cook on one side. Gently lift the omelette and flip it
over. Allow the bottom to cook slightly.
Place the filling in down the centre of the omelette and fold over the sides of the omelette. Allow
the filling to cook slightly, and then serve.
