Connecting the unit
Supply voltage
The 24 VDC supply voltage connection is on the side of the housing (see
Fig. 4-2).

Please note the following when connecting the supply voltage:
• Safe electrical isolation of the low voltage must be ensured for the 24 V
supply.
• Only use power supplies manufactured in accordance with PELV or
SELV!
• The supply voltage must be within the stated voltage range, otherwise
functional failures on the PMI cannot be excluded.
• Protect the PMI with a slow acting fuse, maximum 10 A.
• Use the three-pin terminal block supplied with the unit to connect the
supply voltage.
• The terminal block is designed for cables with a maximum cross section
of 2.5 mm 2 .
• Connect the earth conductor on the terminal block.
WARNING!
Secure the terminal block so that it cannot work its way loose. Make sure
that the two integral screws are firmly tightened.
