Stowing the Stabilizers
1. Reposition the wheel chocks so that they will not be pinched when the jacks are retracted.
2. Locate the stabilizer controls.
3. Ensure that the stabilizer area is clear of all personnel.
4. Shout your intention to stow stabilizers.
NOTE:
If the stabilizer remote control is inactive for a couple of minutes, it will automatically shut off and
the stabilizer power switch will need to be reactivated.
5. Activate the Stabilizer Power Switch, the Stabilizer Remote Control lights will illuminate.
NOTE:
•
If either of the center stabilizers were in a short-jacked set-up or were not extended to at least
half of the ground pad length from the side of the truck, perform steps (6) and (7).
•
If both center stabilizers were fully extended or if the stabilizer beams were extended at least
more than half of the ground pad length from the side of the truck, go to step (8).
6. Press the STOW stabilizer button and slightly raise all of the stabilizer jacks until the weight of the truck is off all
of the ground pads.
