3.3.4 Voltage Test
Press “2ndF” then “VOLT/6” and the instru-
ment will enter voltage testing mode. It will
test the built-in battery voltage and the trunk
voltage. The LCD displays:
3.3.5 C/N Test (The result is only for
reference, not accuracy.)
Press “2ndF” then “C/N 5” and the instrument
will enter C/N testing mode. The instrument
will measure the selected channel’s video
carrier level (the value should be greater than
80dBuV, or it will not be accurate) and display
the value. Then the noise level of the system
will be measured. Follow the instruction from
the instrument and get the C/N value and
display on LCD as follows:

case of testing C/N shows:

The C/N testing is limited to test the CATV
transmitting system.
2.
When the LCD display <25dB, it means the
tested C/N value is less then 25 dBuV or the
value is negative.
3.
When the LCD display >65dB, it means the
tested C/N value is greater than 65dBuV.
4.
When the LCD displays “Error”, it means
the resultant C/N is too low and out of range.
3.3.6 Tilt Test
Press “2ndF” then press “TILT/4”and the
instrument enters TILT testing mode. The LCD
displays:

level at 10dB. Press “F1” to change display
scale. The value is 10dB or 20dB per division.
The other keys don’t work in this version.
3.3.7 Hum Test (Opt.)
Press key “2ndF” then press key “6/HUM” to
enter HUM testing mode. Function is not
included in this version.
