Front and Rear Panels

1.   POWER: Indicates power is on when lit.
2. 

 AURAL  ADJUST: Use to set level of audio carrier (volume).

3. 

 Channel  display:  Displays input and output channels, channel mode, 
and fine tune frequency increments. 

4. 

 IN/OUT:  Toggles between the input and output channels. 

5.   STORE:  Press this button to store current programming information in 

the non-volatile memory. 

6. 

 CH.  MODE: Use to select standard, HRC, IRC or off-air channels.

7. 

 F+/ F-: Use these buttons to fine-tune the frequency. When either 
button is pressed, the frequency is increased (F+) or decreased (F-) 
by 12kHz per increment.

8. 

 CHANNEL: Use these buttons            to select desired channel.

9.  

OUTPUT ADJUST: Use to set level of RF output.

10.   -30  dB  TEST POINT: Used to monitor input level.
11.   RF  OUT: Connect this port to distribution system.
12.   IF  IN: Input from I.F. scrambler or I.F. output.
13.   IF OUT: To I.F. input or scrambling device.
14.  

VIDEO IN (Stand-by input): Connect to baseband video source for 
stand-by operation.

15.   AUDIO  IN (Stand-by input): Connect to baseband audio source for 

stand-by operation.

16.   RF IN: Connect RF source (antenna or cable) to this port.
17.   SUB/CATV:  When switch is in SUB position, input channels T7 to T13 

are converted to channels 7 to 13 and will appear as channels 7 to 
13 on the channel display.

18.  FUSE Holder: Use 0.5 amp, 125V slow-blow fuse.
19.   Convenience  outlet: Provides 125Vac, 60Hz, 600W max. supply.
20.  Power cord: Standard three wire, U.S.A. type.

Channel Mode Selection

Press the 

CH. MODE

 button to 

cycle through the selection. 
Upon reaching selection press 

STORE

Input/Output Channel Selection

Press the 

IN/OUT button to 

select either input or output 
channel. 
“I” = input channel, 
“U” = output channel. 

Then use 

CHANNEL

buttons to select desired 
channel number. Upon reach-
ing selection press 

STORE.

 

Note:

 UHF is available only as 

an input channel and appears 
on front panel as shown at 
right.

Fine Tune Selection

Press the 

F+ or F- to select the fine tuning steps. Each step increases or 

decreases by 12 kHz for a maximum of 24 kHz up or down. Upon reach-
ing selection press 

STORE.
