4) Check the integrity of the sliding shoes of the
contact plate.
- Check that the internal bushing shown in the fig-
ure is not abnormally worn and measure inside
diameter « A ».
- Measure outside diameter « B » of the pulley slid-
ing bushing shown in the figure.
CAUTION
DO NOT LUBRICATE OR CLEAN THE BUSHING.

Refitting the driving pulley
- Manually move the movable driven half-pulley
away by pulling it towards the clutch unit and fit the
belt observing the direction of rotation of the first
fitting.
N.B.
IT IS GOOD PRACTICE ALWAYS TO FIT THE BELT SO
THAT THE WORDS CAN BE READ IN CASE IT DOES NOT
SHOW A FITTING SIDE.
- Fit the group components (roller housing assem-
bly with bushing, fixed half-pulley, cooling fan belt
with drive, washer and nut).
