Cleaning the N-331
Requirements

You have discharged the piezo actuators of the drive (p. 27).

You have disconnected the drive from the electronics.
Cleaning the N-331

Do not do any ultrasonic cleaning.
Only when the drive is not used in vacuum:

Clean the surfaces of the drive with a cloth that is slightly dampened with a mild cleanser
or disinfectant (e.g. ethanol or isopropanol).
When the drive is used in a vacuum:

Touch the drive only with powder-free gloves.

If necessary, wipe the drive clean.
