The arrow keys
of the navigator are used for the
navigation within the menu. Selections must be confirmed
with the confirmation key
.
The following subchapters explain the various menu items of
the Cobra4 Mobile-Link 2 based on the menu structure in
Fig. 11.
5.4.1 Sensor/Range (1.1)
In the case of sensors with more than one measuring chan-
nel, the measuring channel that is to be used can be selected
by way of ◄► (e.g. in the case of acceleration:
,
, or
). For every channel, a different measuring range (
−2…2,
−4…4 or −8…8) can be set. Then, the unit (e.g. g or m/s
2
) can
be specified (Fig. 13). Confirm the settings with the confirma-
tion key
. This will lead you back to the "Sensor" submenu.
5.4.2
Sensor > Setup (1.2)
In the case of some sensors, the "Sensor" menu includes the
additional menu item "Setup".
The following section provides an overview of the individual
changes that are possible for these special sensors:
Temperature compensation
This setting option is available for the following Cobra4 Sen-
sor-Units:
-
Cobra4 Sensor-Unit Chemistry (12630-00)
-
Cobra4 Sensor-Unit pH (12631-00)
-
Cobra4 Sensor-Unit Condu (12632-00)
It enables the automatic temperature compensation of a pH
or conductivity measuring channel, e.g. T(1), with regard to a
temperature input, or the manual input of a known tempera-
ture with the purpose of compensation (Fig. 15, first and
second point in the menu).
Apart from the manual adjustment of the temperature com-
pensation, it is also possible to enter the temperature of the
solution. As far as the Cobra4 Sensor-Unit pH (12631-00) is
concerned, the manual control can be switched on
or
off
via a switch and by way of ◄►.
Temperature coefficient
This setting option is available for the following Cobra4 Sen-
sor-Units:
-
Cobra4 Sensor-Unit Condu (12632-00)
Input of a temperature coefficient for application to a conduc-
tivity measuring channel (Fig. 15, third point).
