General
Languages
Select a language for your phone.
Time & date
Set the clock of the phone (See "Set
clock" on page 8 and "Display local
and international clocks" on page
8).
Auto update of date and time
:
Update the time and date of your
phone according to the signals sent
by the network. (dependent on the
network).
Auto power-on time
: Set time for the
phone to be switched on
automatically.
Auto power-off time
: Set time for the
phone to be switched off
automatically.
Security
This menu allows you to use
passwords to protect your SIM
card, phone, and information
stored on the phone.
PIN protection
:
Change PIN
and
Change PIN2
:
Change your PIN,
PIN2, phone passwords as desired.
If you enter an incorrect PIN
code three times in succession,
the PIN code of your SIM card
will be locked automatically and
you will be prompted to enter
the PUK code to unlock it. You
can obtain the PUK code from
your network operator. If you
enter an incorrect PUK code ten
times in succession, the SIM card
will be locked permanently.
When this happens, please
contact your network operator
or retailer.
