Ignitor Board Replacement
Vari-Lite Part No: 24.9661.3126
To remove and replace ignitor board assembly:
Step 1. Remove power from luminaire.
WARNING: You must remove all power from luminaire before performing maintenance. Fixture
may be very HOT after operation. Allow it to cool completely before performing any maintenance.
Step 2. At tilt-side leg, remove yoke leg cover by removing four 6-32x3/8" PTB screws.
CAUTION: Always use anti-static precautions when working with PCBs.
Step 3. Disconnect ignitor PCB wires by removing four screws which secure wire ring terminals to
PCB and remove ignitor PCB.
WARNING: Ensure that only these screws are used for wire ring terminals (removed in Step 3). DO
NOT USE SUBSTITUTES!
Step 4. Remove four 6-32 x 3/8"LG PPZ SEMS screws and remove ignitor PCB.
Step 5. Replace by performing previous steps in reverse.
Note: Make sure and orient ignitor properly (as shown in Figure 2-12 ).
