Breakouts on the forehead where the
headband sensor cover rests.
Your sweat, dandruff, and skin oil may remain on the headband after
each use. Over time, the fabric on the headband may have trapped
many of these irritants, which may lead to breakouts. It is important
to wash your face before using the device every night, and routinely
clean your device. We recommend cleaning the headband at least
once a week. Please see the
Care and Maintenance
section on page
33.

A Warning indicates the possibility of injury to the user or operator.

Never operate the headband if any parts are damaged or if it is not working properly. Periodically inspect
the headband and USB cable for damage or signs of wear. Discontinue use and replace the USB cable and
charger if damaged.

If you notice any unexplained changes in the performance of the headband, discontinue use and contact
Philips Customer Care for support.
•
Do not open, disassemble, or modify the headband. There are no user serviceable components in the Deep
Sleep Headband.
•
Keep the headband dry.
