Freeze
: Holds the selected camera picture on either full screen or cameo. The currently selected camera image
will be frozen, and “FREEZE” will be displayed on the screen. This feature allows closer inspection of any part of
the selected image. Press the FREEZE
key again to release the image from this function. Changing the display
screen mode releases the freeze mode from all cameos.
Alarms and Actions
:The ALM or ACT LED will flash when an alarm or action condition occurs. If viewing in a
mulitscreen view or quad view, “ALARM”/“ACTION” will flash in the corresponding cameo if the affected camera is
in view. When an alarm or action is detected, the corresponding camera picture is displayed in full screen on
Monitor B only when Monitor B is in the full screen viewing mode. Clearing an Alarm/Action will stop any
recording associated with that function.
Clearing Alarm/Action
: Press the ALM
or ACT
key, and all alarms/actions will be reset.
6.2 Record
To record live pictures:
1.
Press the green ALT
key, then press the camera number key above the REC LED. This key combination
toggles (ON/OFF) the RECORD mode.
2.
Ensure the REC LED is illuminated for proper recording functions.
NOTE
: If the REC LOCK has been enabled in system programming, the REC LED cannot be disabled.
When the REC LED is illuminated, there will be no multiscreen viewing capability on Monitor A if a simplex
unit is used or on Monitor B if a duplex unit is used.
6.3 Playback
To playback the recorded pictures:
1.
Press the green ALT
key, then press the camera number key above PLAY LED.This key combination toggles
(ON/OFF) the PLAYBACK mode.
2.
Ensure the PLAY LED is illuminated for proper recording functions.
NOTE
: Recorded video will be played back on Monitor A only allowing FULL, QUAD, or MULTI screen
viewing capabilities.
6.4 Combined Modes
The Duplex multiplexer models also provide combinations of the basic modes of operation as described in this section.
Record Plus Multiscreen Display (See Appendix B):
Allows live pictures to be displayed on Monitor A in either FULL, QUAD, or MULTI screen mode. FULL screen or
sequencing of all cameras can be displayed on Monitor B while recording selected cameras onto the VCR.
Simultaneous Record plus Playback (See Appendix B):
Allows recorded camera pictures to be played back and displayed on Monitor A in either FULL, QUAD, or MULTI
screen mode; live FULL screen display of the selected camera picture or sequencing all cameras on Monitor B; and
at the same time, record the selected live camera pictures onto the VCR.Two VCRs are required for this operation.
When
not
recording, the following mode can be programmed:
Live Multiscreen on Monitor A and Monitor B
: The duplex unit provides two independent output monitors,
each with the capability to provide FULL, QUAD, or MULTI screen display.
Simultaneous Playback plus Multiscreen Display
: The Duplex units allow live pictures to be displayed on
monitor B in either FULL, QUAD, or MULTI screen mode and playback recorded camera pictures to be displayed
on monitor A in either FULL, QUAD, or MULTI screen mode.
