Transmitter Button is pressed, but desired
result does not occur
The transmitter button on the transmitter can be
configured using the Service Tool to do the following
when pressed:
•
Start a recording for the patient at the Central
Station when the patient presses the button, or
•
Generate a system alarm (short yellow) at the
Central Station when the patient presses the
button, or
•
Start a recording and generate an alarm at the
Central Station when the patient presses the
button, or
•
Do nothing. The transmitter button can be disabled.
•
If a transmitter is set for intermittent SpO
2
measurements (manual mode, 1 minute and 5
minutes), manual measurements from the
transmitter can be initiated at any time using the
transmitter button. SpO
2
must be turned on at the
Central Station for alarms and for display and
trending.
If the transmitter button is faulty, it does not generate
any INOPs at the Central Station.
1. Check that the transmitter button is not turned off
(disabled) at the Central Station.
2. Using the telemetry service screens available at the
Central Station or the Service Tool, make certain
that the transmitter button is configured in the
receiver mainframe to do what is desired. If it is
not, configure it appropriately.
